Integrated Ocean Energy Farms

What if we integrated a spectrum of proven renewable energy technologies into one package, and placed them in the energy rich environment of the open ocean?

Artist Scott Bluedorn conceptualizes a floating “Integrated Ocean Energy Farm” that utilizes wind, solar, and wave power while also providing a platform for aquaculture. Such floating energy farms greatly enhance potential power output in a small footprint, with the added benefit of nullifying the “supply lack” - if the wind doesnt blow, the solar panels and wave power still capture available energy, and vice versa.
